Hope everyone is having a great day. The wife and I went fishing this morning and had a very good time. We boated 52 bass in about 3 hours. Some schoolers, some suspended and bottom feeders.
About 9:30 she said she was ready to go home as the air temps were high, the lake surface was flat and no wind with humidity high.
I know Bobby gets out and catches fish, Frank hunts and Doug works (he needs to retire).
Just have to be happy fishing a couple of evenings a week and hunting about the same. Could be worse!
But don't know about the catching part. I did go up the bayou yesterday and caught 14 but only 4 small keepers. It's like a hatchery up there. Biggest I've ever caught up there is 5 lbs. BJ and Roger caught some nice ones when they were here years ago. I think they had 4 for 14 lbs or so, can't really remember. Most of the big fish come from deep water out on the main lake except during the spawn.
