Subject: #2458: Right Prop???
Submitted by oly24 (198.26.125.12) from NORTH DAKOTA on 7/13/04 11:25:09 pm:
Hi,
I have aquired a High Five PN 48-816612-20 prop from a friend who had it on a Yamaha 150 and can no longer use it. My motor is a 1992 Evinrude 150EX and he says it will work fine. The prop fits on the splines fine but does not slide all the way back to the spacer. Is this prop OK for my boat can it be re-hubed or machined to fit correctly?
Thanks,
Jason
You possibly can have the splines shortened to 1.15" and then with a combination of the right washers make it fit.
